The project definition phase requires that the implementation team gathers and analyses the customer’s requirements, performs a gap analysis and then groups the requirements into distinct gaps. Hermes© allows you to store and search requirements (as well as their source), group them by business process, assign priorities and group the requirements into the relevant gaps. At the completion of this phase, Hermes © runs an exception report to identify misplaced requirements.

At the start of the project, the implementation team assesses the scope of the implementation, the application modules and business flows which need to be implemented. At this time, Hermes © is configured with the list of team members and implementation methodology, as well as a list of business processes and project milestones.
The Implementation Support Tool
Hermes © is a software based implementation support tool, designed to help technical and functional teams to keep track of all elements of their project work including software, documents and requirements. The tool was initially developed by Premiertec consultants to help our own implementation teams to work as effectively and productively as possible.
To gain a real insight into the extensive capabilities of Hermes©, it is best viewed in terms of the benefits it offers at each phase of the implementation process.
